The Environmental Engineering Department has offered degree in Engineering in Under Graduate Courses Presently, the intake is 60 . The Department has designed to introduce the students with a wide range of problems encountered by Environmental Engineers through electives and independently conducted projects. Broad area of subjects includes • Water & waste water treatment, solid waste management, industrial waste management, Heavy metals removals from industrial effluents, air pollution, noise pollution, water supply, sewage disposal, disaster mitigation, global warming & climate changes and aim to expose the students to actual field problems. Industrial tours are conducted every year for the students by visiting industries and sites throughout India. Practical training through internships are being made for students during summer & winter vacations and their observations and Conclusions are publish in reputed journals and also presented in conferences & seminars. To carry out effective research, promote & encourage the students towards research, the Department has set up well equipped laboratory • Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Microbiology, Solid Waste, and Public Health Engineering lab.
